Winter Inspiration for new abstracts

Yesterday's morning inspiration at All Shores Wesleyan Church. The morning roads were a little slick under the snow. I had several close calls! I'll be ordering cleats for the next winter walk.

There is something beautiful about these dead plants. I'm actually inspired to create some abstracts from them today at Carlyn and Company. Stop in and watch the process from 3-5:30. I'll be using cold wax, oils, collage and graphite. I still have a couple spots left for the cold wax workshop on the 29th as well.
